Unique Natural Environments

Himalayas

Our international study abroad programs take place in some of the world’s most pristine, picturesque, and unique environments. Many programs take place in the Himalayas.

Tibet

On our Rooftop of the World program in Tibet you have the opportunity to study at the world’s highest monastery at the base camp of Mount Everest.

Ladahk

On our Ladahk, India, program you will study in one of the world’s most isolated regions that has a very rare and unique barren lunar-like topography.

Greece

During our Greece program, your classroom each day will be the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea.

Sikkim

Bhutan

In Sikkim, India and neighboring Bhutan, you will be studying in a natural botanical garden surrounded by the massive snow peaks of the Himalayas.

Kham

In Kham, East Tibet, you are treated to one of the most beautiful environments on the planet — glacier filled lakes, massive snow peaked mountains, subtropical low-lying jungles and the high grasslands of north-eastern Tibet.

South India

Our South India program offers our students the opportunity to study and experience the beautiful beaches of the Arabian Sea on India’s West coast and the white sandy beaches on the Bay of Bengal on the East coast. South India is a tropical paradise and our South India program takes place in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Cambodia

Cambodia has one of world’s most pristine ecosystems. For such a small country, it has it all — sandy beaches, lush rainforests, densely forested mountains and thick tropical jungles. No one knows how many plant species are in Cambodia, but it is estimated that there are more than 15,000 different species. It is home to Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake that provides fish and irrigation for half of Cambodia’s population.
